How do we overcome the practical challenges we are facing?
Pride in Place areas are grappling with many similar challenges, and there is a lot of theory and practice to learn from. Rather than creating new material, we have curated the best we have found — some from local areas themselves, and some from supporting organisations.
People consume information differently, so we have included a range of formats, including some materials that are hopefully a little more fun. We have prioritised material that is free to use, but have also included some that is paywalled.
We do not endorse every aspect of the materials. They are intended to inform, but also to provoke and challenge.
So far we have compiled five sets of materials, guided by our discussions with Pride in Place areas. We have also named five topics for the future. We would be interested to know which of these people would find most useful.
